Special Events at CBC
Special events
As well as regular sessions and competitions, we have a number of special events and a mentoring program:
- Weekend competitions
- A wide variety of face to face events are held, for all levels. They range from the Novice championships, Teams of Three, through to state championship and selection events.
- Australia-wide interclub competition
- Held on RealBridge, this competition pits CBC teams against clubs around Australia. It has categories from <50 masterpoints to Open.
- Canberra in Bloom
- Held over a weekend in September/October, this is Canberra’s own national gold point event. It has competitions for all levels of players.
- Mentoring in May
- Partner one of the more experienced members in duplicate sessions. After the session, discussing the hands introduces new bridge concepts, provides great tips and widens possibilities.
