Tuesday is Competition night

The Club holds competitions for stronger players on Tuesday evenings, from 7.00pm to around 10.15pm. This session is best suited to experienced players and to developing players looking to master their game.

The competitions include the Club’s many honour board titles, and BFACT’s State-level events. They include Butler pairs, matchpoint pairs and teams competitions.  They are generally multi-week, and offer red or gold masterpoints.  As a result, table money is higher than other sessions.  Pre-entry is required via MyABF.   Competitions are held at the clubrooms (except that in winter, they are held on RealBridge).

If there are evenings when you are not available for a competition that you have entered, it is your responsibility to find a substitute.  The managers can assist with finding a substitute, as well as partners or team mates.

A few Tuesday evenings have no game scheduled, due to clashes with national events or the Christmas break.
