Community Rewards Program
A reminder that the Canberra Bridge Club (CBC) participates in the Canberra Southern Cross Club (CSCC) Community Rewards Program. Through this initiative, CSCC members can nominate the CBC to receive 7.5% of the money they spend on food and beverages at participating CSCC venues. How the Program Works
- The Contribution: For every dollar you spend on food and drinks at CSCC locations, 7.5 cents goes directly to the Canberra Bridge Club.
- Earning Cap: The Club can earn up to a maximum of $20,000 per financial year through this program.
- Venue Eligibility: Participating venues include CSCC Woden, Tuggeranong, Jamison, Yacht Club, and Snapper & Co.

Thank you Travel Associates!
"Dear Elizabeth
I thought that you and possibly Canberra Bridge Club members may be interested to know that my husband and I have used the generous $500 travel voucher prize from Travel Associates which I won at the Club last August.
We went on a wonderful trip to the south-west of Western Australia. While my husband and I chose the tour, Travel Associates (Rachel at the Belconnen Branch of the Agency) did all our bookings, including our air flights, additional hotel nights in Perth, as well as our travel insurance. My husband and I only had to pack, turn up and enjoy - which we did. We can thoroughly recommend the Agency for its travel knowledge, efficiency, and friendly client service.
We also can thoroughly recommend our tour which was run by Travelrite. I include a link to the tour itinerary, which is being repeated in September, should CBC members be interested.

Perth is impressive, the south-west of Western Australia is magnificent. We had many side trips and excursions throughout this expansive region.. We learnt much about its geography, history and industry.
I hope that Travel Associates feel in a position to offer the CBC a similar travel prize this year and another CBC member benefits from it. Thanks to the Club for enabling this promotion to take place.
Sincerely
Gill Kempton"

This week's youth shoutout goes to Max Ashurst (third from the left), ACT Youth Team captain. No matter what has happened at the table, he always greets the team with a smile and something positive about their play. He's also always been on call to help at the raffle table.
