Upcoming Events

Swiss Matchpoint Pairs - 25 August, 1 & 8 September
Matchpoint scoring will be used and will be run with a Swiss format of three matches per night of nine boards against each opponent. Red Masterpoints are on offer in this event.

Teams of Three- for players with fewer than 100 Masterpoints
This event is being held on Sunday, August 28, at 12.30pm.
Three players join forces and are captained by a club member allocated by the club. The field is divided into sections so that inexperienced players play in a different category and the more experienced play in another category. A signup sheet is in the Barry Turner room. This is a great experience for newer players. You will be treated to fancy nibbles and drinks at the end of play.
If eligible please enter this event.

Nation Wide Pairs: Friday Afternoon August 19 @ 1.00pm.
In addition to the normal Friday afternoon duplicate, the club will host a heat of the ABF Nationwide Pairs. The same hands are played and scored across Australia. Red Masterpoints are allocated on a national basis in addition to the normal session Green Masterpoints. The cost is normal table money plus $1.00.
The Panel discussion of some of the more interesting hands will be led this month by Richard Brightling.
Regular Friday afternoon duplicate is unaffected by the Nation Wide Pairs.
