Supervised play sessions provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for less experienced players, and those players returning to the game, to improve their bridge. An experienced supervisor provides a mini lesson on a specific topic, and gives advice during the scored play session. The play session generally focuses on the topic discussed during the lesson.
Upcoming Topics: click here for 4th February to 9th December, 2019
Supervised play sessions are held throughout the year on Monday evenings at 7pm and on Friday mornings at 9:30am. You can come with a partner, or on your own.
Mondays at 7:00 pm and Fridays at 9:30 am
Prior to play, a short 20 minute lesson will be given upstairs in the Olive Lott Room. This will be followed by duplicate play downstairs in the Barry Turner Room but in a special Supervised section where help will be available to you throughout the play.
At some sessions there is a break mid-way through to allow you to be refreshed and socialise with your fellow players.
Topics for Monday evenings and Friday mornings are identical. Feel free to come to both.
Barb, Jeanette, Larissa and friends look forward to helping less experienced players at these sessions.
